Position Overview: The Director, Therapy Service Line is responsible for the comprehensive development and execution, at the organizational level, of Family Care Center's therapy service line nationally. The Director ensures consistency and synergy across every region while maintaining a commitment to high-quality diagnosis and treatment. Serving as the organization's subject matter expert on therapy practice, the Director weighs in on proposed changes, practice guidelines, quality initiatives, and training and development efforts. This role carries a strong focus on patient access ensuring Family Care Center's therapy programs are efficient, scalable, and positioned to meet patient demand across the country.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the strategic planning and development of Family Care Center's therapy service line nationally; continuously assesses program needs and adapts services across regions to meet evolving clinical and business requirements.
- Serves as the organization's subject matter expert (SME) on therapy practice, providing input on proposed changes, practice guidelines, and clinical protocols to ensure consistency and quality across all regions.
- In partnership with executive leadership, determines the optimal ratio of therapists to other clinical staff, and appropriate caseload models, across FCC clinics.
- Owns patient access and calendar maximization strategy for the therapy service line, monitoring scheduling efficiency, appointment availability, cancellation and no-show trends, and provider panel utilization, and drives initiatives to reduce time-to-first-appointment and maximize provider calendars.
- Develops and executes a cost-effective training program that supports provider retention, clinical competency, and high-quality care across the therapy service line.
- In partnership with Regional and Executive Leadership, establishes and monitors metrics, including clinical outcome and operational metrics, to evaluate therapy service line effectiveness and efficiency, and utilizes data-driven insights to make informed decisions for continuous improvement.
- Supports Clinic and Regional Leaders as they execute the daily operations and activities of the therapy service line to achieve customer satisfaction, quality service, and compliance with established procedures and policies.
- Works with all leadership stakeholders to ensure therapists have the necessary administrative, logistical, and scheduling support to perform at full capacity.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure excellent quality, timeliness, and customer service throughout the entire patient and family experience.
- Ensures evidence-based practices are employed within the therapy service line and that teams are fully trained in applicable modalities.
- Performs therapy and related direct clinical care for an average of 15 hours per week.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Masters or doctoral-level degree required.
- Minimum five years’ experience as a licensed mental health therapist required. Three years of professional experience in clinical supervision preferred.
- Current professional unrestricted registration/certification or licensure by state/national authority of practice required.
- Arizona applicants: Must have successfully completed and passed either the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
